Among many other concluded cases, DLA Piper’s attorneys led a successful defense of product liability in a pharmaceuticals case in The Supreme Court of Denmark based on the scientific and technical knowledge at the time the product was put into circulation. The rule originates in the European Product Liability Directive and this case was the first of its kind in the EU.
